The moraki.app website sets no cookies and loads nothing from other servers. It remembers one thing, your light or dark choice, and only on your device.
1. No cookies on this website
This website sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, trackers, advertising pixels or fingerprinting, and it runs no scripts from other companies.
Every file, including the fonts and images, comes from moraki.app itself. Your browser contacts no other server when you visit.
2. The one thing we store: your theme
If you pick Light or Dark with the theme switch at the top of the page, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage, under the name moraki-theme. The value is just light or dark. If you pick Auto, the entry is removed.
The choice stays in your browser. It is never sent to us or anyone else, and it is not a cookie. To clear it, pick Auto, or clear the site data for moraki.app in your browser settings.
3. Why there is no cookie banner
The law asks for your consent before a website stores or reads information on your device, unless it is strictly needed for something you asked for. Your theme choice is stored only because you asked for it, and only to show the site the way you chose it. So we don't show a banner.
4. Server logs
When you visit, the companies that host and deliver this website, A2 Hosting and Cloudflare, see your IP address and browser details, as any web server does. They may keep them in standard server logs. These are not cookies. The details are in section 7 of the privacy policy.
5. The Moraki app
The Moraki app on iPhone uses no cookies. What it keeps on your phone, and why, is in section 2 of the privacy policy.
6. Changes to this policy
If this website starts to store anything else, we will update this page and the date above first.
